Meet Your Integrative Care Team

Through experience and wisdom we developed the following
key beliefs that guide our approach:
-
Healing from trauma whether it is mental, physical, or both requires courage, patience, and a team.
-
Folks rarely heal alone and soul healing is often slow healing.
-
Collaborative care that guides folks to better self-advocate and be their own case managers is empowering and effective.
-
Folks need to be treated like the expert of their own health!
-
Self-compassion and accurate empathy are required, the inner critic can be silenced.
-
We can do the hard things required to truly heal, especially when we surround ourselves in kindness and have a realistic plan.
-
Addressing the impact of trauma and chronic pain on the central nervous system is required so our feelings, thoughts, and choices are aligned with wisdom - not intense emotions such as fear.
-
The Shen or heart of the matter is - we love to help others help themselves.
-
Healing is an active partnership between the client and helper.
